Javier Peña Ibáñez, an architect with a studio in Madrid, is a curator, researcher, teacher and consultant in architecture, design and the city. Director of Concéntrico, International Festival of Design and Architecture of Logroño, he focuses his activity on the direction, curatorship and dissemination of cultural projects. Trained at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, Universidad Politécnica, he founded Concéntrico in 2015, an event that he combines with the realization of other projects in the context of architecture and the city, such as the artistic direction of TAC! Festival de Arquitectura Urbana (2024/22) or the co-curation of the exhibition Madrid Diversa at CentroCentro (2022), among others.
