Hotel design cannot turn its back on these new challenges, but it must also respect the fundamental principles of circulation, sizing, and programming that define a hotel project, while aiming to innovate. For this reason, a transversal approach is essential in the process. A 360-degree vision of all stakeholders in the project is necessary: developers, managers, directors, suppliers and specialists, users, and finally experts in lighting, acoustics, energy efficiency, safety, facility management, neuroarchitecture, and other specialties. Their combined synergies are crucial to shaping the hotel of 2030. The Escola Sert roundtable aims to highlight the added value of cross-disciplinary training and design, proposing an innovative and contemporary approach within the hospitality and tourism industry. Its goal is to provide a current response to hotel needs while integrating the innovation that architects can bring to the project.
