After working at renowned studios such as Teresa Sapey, LA Studio, and Madrid in Love for several years —where he became the Project Director— Pablo Roig started a new independent phase in 2021. In this new chapter, he explores his own way of developing projects, goes back to his historical influences, follows his instincts, and creates his own style. Before that, Roig studied Civil Engineering, which gave him strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills. These proved very useful when he decided to switch paths and study Interior Architecture at the Superior Technical School of Architecture in Madrid. In almost four years running his own studio, Roig has completed several projects for major hospitality groups like Grupo con Fuego and Grupo Sumo. He has also worked on private homes and collaborated on hotel projects in Menorca and Marbella. His latest project is Malandro in Seville, a restaurant located in a historic Sevillian house overlooking the Maestranza, combining different dining concepts.
Pablo Roig is an interior designer based in Madrid who has been developing projects since 2021, mainly in Spain, but also in Portugal and Switzerland. He has focused much of his career in the hospitality sector, working on hotel projects, restaurants, offices, and coworking spaces for clients and spaces of all sizes. Creativity and organization are the two main values of his studio, which aims to bring its own perspective and approach to projects, making them more thoughtful, allowing them the space and time to grow, adapt, and meet the goals of the clients. His projects are known for their use of materials, textures, and how these elements interact with lighting. Above all, his work focuses on the values and emotions that these designs are able to convey.
