Luxury, serenity & well-being
A room is proposed for the renovation of the beautiful Cal Duc estate in Alella, owned by the MERCER Hotels chain. To this end, consideration has been given to its geographical location on the one hand, and the type of traveler it is intended for on the other.
The estate is located in the Maresme region, in a mountainous area about 2 km from the sea. The village is known for its wines and cavas, and the estate is surrounded by vineyards. The hotel will be a destination hotel aimed at a quiet clientele who love gastronomy and are also keen to learn about the history and heritage of the area.
ILV* offers an exclusive and sophisticated room with a calm elegance that conveys serenity and refinement. Here, travelers will feel welcomed by a luxury that eschews ostentation while fostering a sense of belonging through local art and craftsmanship.
Materials

Natural materials such as wood, stone, and textured lime paints are recommended. High-quality cotton or thread textiles are also recommended. The colors used are earthy tones: brown, ochre, and white. The studio drew inspiration from the wine-making tradition and the Mediterranean landscape, incorporating textures and shades that evoke the land and vineyards surrounding the estate. Likewise, the open layout and selection of timeless pieces seek to create an immersive experience, where luxury and simplicity coexist in harmony with nature.
