Having grown up with a strong sporting background, and having completed his studies in Interior Design in 2004, he founded his own company. Amongst other postings, he moved to London in 2006, which gave him a fresh perspective on the profession and enabled him to collaborate with renowned studios in Madrid, undertaking projects in Museum design, Retail, Hospitality, Senior Management Offices, Restaurants ..., specialising in project management and construction.
In 2013, he decided to move to Morocco to join the project and oversee the construction of a Hotel, marking the start of a 13-year period in the country specialising in the Hospitality sector, whilst also undertaking residential and healthcare projects and undertaking project consultancy work across more than 10 countries on three continents.
Aiming to make the Design not only an aesthetic but also a functional discipline, the owner of Variación Diseño has combined his professional practice with serving as Dean of CODDIM, whilst also taking on a teaching role for the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Interior Design, specialising in Hotel Projects.
Variación Diseño, alongside its sister firm bastarDesign, is a company specialising in interior design, with a contemporary vision and an international outlook, where each project is seen as an opportunity to create real spaces with their own identity, capable of conveying emotions and generating memorable experiences.
Refusing to be confined to a single sector, at Variación Diseño they believe that design goes far beyond aesthetics: it must express the client’s personality, engage with its surroundings and meet the user’s needs, whilst not neglecting functionality and business viability. This approach sees them working on projects in the hospitality sector, leisure facilities, gyms, healthcare spaces and even residential properties.
In an increasingly competitive market, they champion interior design that stands out, surprises and leaves a lasting impression. Because a well-designed space is not merely a place to be, but an experience that deserves to be lived, remembered and shared.
