After graduating from the Vatel School of Hotel Management, Damien joined Accor in 1998 as IT Project Manager for Wagon-Lits Company. He was then appointed Project Manager in the Procurement Department. From 2000 to 2012, he held various positions in Hotel Equipment Services, starting as IT Project Leader, then Department Director and, in 2009, Director of Design Communication and Technical Services. In 2013, he joined ibis Family Teams as Technical Vice President for Europe. From 2014 to 2022, he headed the Group's Global Design Department and, from 2021, also the Innovation Lab. His main challenge at Accor is to define and deploy the Design & Innovation strategy, reinforcing the brand identity and pushing the traditional boundaries of hospitality in terms of design, technical services and innovation.
