Recognized with awards such as the AD Heineken to new talents, her work has been published in national and international magazines (The New York Times, Living del Corriere della Sera, The Daily Telegraph, Sanghai Daily, Ars, The World of Interiors, El Magazine de El Mundo, AD, Arquitectura y Diseño, COAM magazine, Manera, ELLE, Proyecto Contract, .... ), Paloma Cañizares has been part of national and international juries (FAD2022 Awards, RADO Award, Design Parade 7-Villa Noailles), and has participated in different architecture and design festivals. She is a member of the board of DI.MAD, is part of the AD100 list and has been a professor at IED of the Master of Interior Design and the Master of Product Design. She has also worked for multinationals such as IKEA, leading think tanks within their Ikea Inspiring Talents actions, Leroy Merlin and the French group Adeo, advising on socio-economic trends and their translation to product.
Paloma Cañizares Office is an architecture, interior design and building systems research studio founded in 2004. The office has developed more than 100 projects in the residential, commercial and office sectors. The projects are characterized by the use of few materials, geometric relationships and the development of constructive solutions.
