Graduated in Fine Arts with complementary training in scenography, graphic design and Master in Architectural Lighting, activity to which she is professionally dedicated since 2008. After working several years at Intervento, she founded her own studio in 2013 and in 2019 she joined Lara Elbaz and together they co-founded ELBAZGILDEMONTES Lighting Design, where she develops lighting projects in the private and public sphere, a task that she combines with her collaboration as Senior Professional Partner of APDI, where she currently holds the position of Vocal in its Board of Directors.
Lighting design consultancy co-founded by Lara Elbaz and María Gildemontes in 2019 and formed by a multidisciplinary team. They develop their activity in national and international projects, of different typology and scale: landscaping, heritage, urban planning, residential, commercial, contract and museums among others. Well aware of the impact that lighting has on the different aspects of our lives and our environment, they consider architecture, emotions and environmental and human health as essential elements of their lighting projects, which combined with their great technical knowledge favors the creation of creative proposals focused on the welfare of people.
