Born in Barcelona in 1984, Inés is tireless and hardworking—she had already envisioned her dream hotel even before beginning her business studies. After graduating from Esade Business School and earning an MBA in Marketing, she immediately began working on hospitality projects such as Hotel OMM and Eurostars. In 2010, she joined the Ace Hotel in New York, taking on a wide range of roles, from operations to marketing and strategy. Finally, in 2014, Inés—one of the few female hoteliers in the city—partnered with Lluís Rullan to bring Casa Bonay to life. Since then, Casa Bonay has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Hotels in the World by Condé Nast Traveller, as well as one of Monocle magazine’s Top 100 favorites.
Bonay Hotel Group began its journey in 2016 with Casa Bonay Barcelona, which quickly became an international benchmark by combining design, gastronomy, and honest hospitality. In 2024, the group launched its second hotel under a new line more focused on the high-end sector, thus covering two segments within hospitality: a lifestyle concept with Casa Bonay, and a more premium offering with Portella Palma, featuring 14 rooms—mostly suites—a restaurant, and a small spa located in the heart of Mallorca’s old town. Beyond traditional hotel hospitality, Bonay Hotel Group also launched Libertine Blends in 2024, a premium ready-to-drink cocktail brand. The brand draws its name and creative, innovative spirit from Casa Bonay’s cocktail bar, as well as from Termas Bonay, Spain’s first outdoor wellness experience. The group has a third opening planned for 2027—a second Casa Bonay—along with several projects currently in development in cities such as Porto, Lisbon, Seville, Milan, and many others.
