interihotel has established itself as a fundamental event in the hospitality industry, incorporating in its DNA the importance of design in business, the need to adopt sustainable and regenerative practices and a perspective focused on the creation of a friendly future. Today, our event is built on these three pillars, whichs allows us to create a dynamic space for exchange and metamophosis which redefines the paradigm of one one of the most influential sectors in the world.

In each edition we bring together designers, hoteliers and restaurateurs, brands, provocateurs and change agents to find new answers. interihotel is designed with the purpose of offering our visitors the impulse to stop to be inspired, connect and reflect. A catalytic event in the universe of hotel and restaurant design that brings together industry professionals to inspire beauty, awareness and innovation in the industry. This translates at interihotel into three topics that will be developed, respectively, over the next 19, 20 and 21 November: BLOOM design, IMPACT design and VISIONARY design.

Tuesday, November 19

We will explore the power of design as a catalyst for memorable projects and experiences. Ana Milena Hernández Palacios & Christophe Penasse, founders of the renowned studio Masquespacio or the recent recipients of the National Design Award Clap Studio (Àngela Montagud & Jordi Iranzo) will talk about trends, user experiences, new hospitality concepts or the impact of art in the creation of projects.

A day to explore the capability of design to drive projects.

Each decision counts. Design influences the collective consciousness and generates a positive impact on the world. A day in which we will have the invaluable presence of Anupama Kundoo, an Indian architect whose architectural practice has consisted on making decisions that improve people's lives for years.

On the other hand, the craftsmanship and wisdom of vernacular architecture will be highlighted by speakers such as Dimitris Karampatakis, who, through his experience at K-Studio, will show examples of sustainability and contemporary beauty on the shores of the Mediterranean.

A day to stimulate awareness and highlight hot topics such as diversity and inclusion, holistic wellness, circular design and regenerative systems.

Thursday, November 21

We will spend the third day imagining a future where design plays a fundamental role and understanding how innovation and technology are design tools at the service of creating a better future for all.

Karim Rashid is a renowned Egyptian industrial designer and interior designer based in New York with more than 4000 completed projects. His forward-looking and limitless design connects with this journey that aims to challenge the way we think and create.

On the same day, Joao Albuquerque, partner of BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), will show us examples of the use of technology in favor of sustainability or pioneering projects such as the world's first fully 3D printed hotel.
