The winners of the competition will take place in Fresh Talks at InteriHotel, an open space for new designers and architects in the contract-hospitality field to explain their “fresh” ideas for interior design projects to the audience. In addition, exhibiting companies will also be able to present their new and innovative products.
The panel of judges, comprised of notable professionals from the world of architecture, design and hospitality, such as Diego Gronda, Pepe Seguí, Mónica Fullana, Rafa Fraile, Pepe Costa and Marta Farré, among others, have decided who the winners of this third edition of InterCIDEC will be.
First prize in the Professional Category has been awarded to the #Sismaleta project, created by David Puerta. The project was conceived as a system that is suitable for any proposed space, without being limited by its dimensions as it is variable and can be applied as you wish, based on the idea of a box or container that is also a suitcase, where you can transport it all to wherever you wish.
The first prize in the Student Category has gone to the Senses Contained project, created by Arlet Toral. The idea is based on creating a functional space that evokes the 5 senses by using one element with multiple uses, a hat tip to ‘multi-tasking’, with which we are all familiar. It lays out a changing space in which the user will have a visual and emotional experience.
The first special prize in the Professional Category is awarded to Membrana by Héctor Romero from the Volteo Interiorismo studio, the second for Nidora by Juan José Sánchez from the Pulpas studio, and the third prize goes to Rum Urban Hotel by Dröm Living.
