The growth of the interior design sector is evident across all areas of the profession, but its importance is especially clear in the contract sector and specifically in hotel design. The latest study, “The New Hábitat 26/27,” developed by FutureA in collaboration with APE Grupo, where CGCODDI is a partner, estimates that next year there will be a 21.5% increase in investment in the design and development of hospitality spaces. The focus of these projects is on better design, with greater attention to functionality, flexibility, and centering spaces around the traveler’s experience. In this roundtable, we will discuss the need to design hotels of the future with purpose, aiming to achieve clear objectives for users, property owners, and the people who work in these spaces.
