On the occasion of the new CRAFT LAB space that interihotel is introducing this year as part of its content program, this talk will address how new manifestations of contemporary craftsmanship can be integrated into the design of a hotel or restaurant, contributing not only to making a space unique but also to connecting it with its local culture. The exhibition Towards a New Spatial Articulation, which will be on view at the CRAFT LAB space, will bring together a group of creators who work with artisanal processes and materials, developing proposals that emerge from their individuality and seek to connect spatially and sensorially with the environment. In this talk, moderated by CRAFT LAB curator Tachy Mora, architect Daniel Isern (specialist in hotel design) will participate as guest speaker in a conversation with four of the creators featured in the exhibition: ceramicist Raúl Mouro, artist Natalia Gaminde (specializing in light sculptures made of natural fibers), and textile sculpture artists ELIURPI and Regina Dejiménez.
