Our senses are the first to shape our emotional and psychophysiological response to a space—perceiving essential elements such as color, materiality, scent, acoustics, and the ergonomics of furniture. These perceptions define our sense of well-being within an environment. Starting with a collective micro-sensory experience, this roundtable will explore how hospitality design can genuinely care for and adapt to users through the intentional selection of sensory and environmental variables. The discussion will focus on how these dimensions influence guests’ perceptions and emotions, enabling the creation of spaces tailored to diverse needs and prioritizing emotional well-being.
