Every space we design anticipates a way of living and establishes a relationship with time: with what we recognise, what we repeat and what still feels unfamiliar.
Through five projects, davidedavid explores what makes a place feel like home and how our relationship with space changes when we know our stay is temporary. Concepts such as attachment, inhabitable ruins and the creation of new routines provide a starting point for reflecting on the hotel as a place for experimentation — a space where alternative ways of living can be imagined and tested.
