Víctor Hellín Díaz is an architect based in Málaga, Creative Director and BIM Manager Lead at latroupe(). For more than a decade he has worked on international projects across hospitality, luxury residential, workplace, retail and large-scale fit-out, always at the point where design intent meets technical delivery. He spent nearly four years living and working in the UK and has collaborated remotely with London-based studios for a further six, which gives him a working command of both Spanish and British regulations. Much of his career has focused on refurbishing existing buildings, and he firmly believes reuse and retrofit are the most responsible way to build, especially in a sector like hospitality, where renovation cycles are constant. For Víctor, BIM is not an end in itself but a tool for coordinating teams, anticipating problems on site and helping clients and operators make better decisions earlier in the process.
