Roberta Sartori is an architect and Associate at ZHA, where she is a senior member of the Interior Architecture group. She has extensive experience across cultural, mixed-use, residential, and aviation projects, leading multidisciplinary teams from concept through delivery.
Roberta began her career in Milan, developing her practice within the city’s distinctive culture of design and creativity. She later co-founded Recession Design, a collective exploring DIY design and alternative approaches to making, whose work was published by Rizzoli in 2011.
She has taught Interior and Interactive Design at Domus Academy in Milan and Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, and has undertaken interior and product design commissions in Italy and New York. Her work has been exhibited and featured internationally.
Across her practice, teaching, and independent work, Roberta explores how design can move between scales—from architecture and interiors to objects and everyday experiences—while remaining grounded in people, place, and the way we live.
