Raquel Gutiérrez is an architect, founder and CEO of POLIGHT, a lighting design studio specialising in architectural lighting projects and the supply of high-end lighting solutions. She has over ten years of experience in the sector, leading national and international projects across hospitality, retail, residential, museums, offices and singular spaces. Before founding POLIGHT, she developed her career at Viabizzuno, where she managed the showroom and later led the national projects department in Spain. She combines her role as CEO with teaching and research, currently linked to studies on the relationship between light, wellbeing and spatial perception. Through POLIGHT, she works to integrate lighting from the earliest stages of a project, understanding light as a technical, emotional and strategic tool to transform spaces.
