Patricia Barbis is an interior designer with extensive international experience in hospitality, commercial, high-end residential and mixed-use projects.
After studying interior design in Lima and Miami, she founded her first design studio in Peru, where she developed numerous commercial and residential projects over five years. She later moved to New York to pursue a Master’s degree in Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design. During this time, she joined Rockwell Group, marking the beginning of a career working with some of the world’s most renowned hospitality design firms.
Over the following two decades, she worked at firms including Tihany Design and DMDG in New York, and RTKL in Miami, contributing to hotel and residential projects across different countries. This experience enabled her to develop an approach to interior design that combines creativity, functionality and meticulous attention to detail.
In 2016, she relaunched Studio Barbis, where she develops projects that embrace design as a means of creating distinctive spaces and memorable experiences.
