Pablo Figuera (Madrid, 1988) holds a degree in Industrial Design from Elisava and a postgraduate degree in Design Management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). In 2012, he co-founded the design studio Goula Figuera with Álvaro Goula, where he develops product design for Spanish and international companies including Nomon, Fermob, Vibia, Puig, Estiluz, Faro and Habitat, as well as limited editions and creative consultancy projects. In 2018, he co-founded GOFI, a lighting and furniture brand whose collection is distributed through leading design retailers such as Le Bon Marché, Minim, Magazin, Casamitjana and Punto Luz. In 2020, both the studio and GOFI were awarded the ADI-FAD Delta Gold Award for the Fa Mini luminaire. Alongside his work as a designer, he teaches at university level. His work has been featured in international publications and exhibited in cities including Stockholm, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan. He has received numerous awards, including the Design Plus Award, the Injuve Award, the Red-AEDE Critics' Award and the Lexus Design Award.
GOFI creates contemporary lighting and furniture that is honest, timeless, and enduring—not only through the quality of its materials, but also through its form: simple, functional, free from trends, yet with a strong aesthetic identity. The company offers a carefully curated collection of lighting and occasional furniture, including the acclaimed Fa collection, designed by Goula Figuera and awarded the Delta Gold Award, Spain's highest distinction in product design. All GOFI products are manufactured in Spain in short production runs using semi-artisanal processes. This close relationship with local suppliers allows the company to maintain exceptional quality standards while adapting and customising most products to meet the needs of architects and interior designers. GOFI products have been specified for numerous contract projects, including offices (Amazon, Bacardí, CBRE), hospitality venues (Starbucks, Mercure, Berkeley), and retail spaces (Nike Box).
