Marta Masdeu grew up in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees, and has been connected to Estiluz, the family lighting company founded in 1969, since childhood. Born far from the major urban centres, the company understood from the outset the need to open itself to the world while remaining deeply rooted in its territory.
A graduate in Business Administration and Management from ESADE, she has continued to develop her knowledge in areas such as marketing, innovation and management. She spent part of her professional career in the United States, where she worked for five years at Estiluz’s US subsidiary.
On returning, she joined the company’s management team, a responsibility she shares with her brother, with a particular focus on sales and marketing. Her career has unfolded between Sant Joan and Barcelona, and she continues to draw inspiration from international travel, exposure to different markets, and the people she meets along the way.
