José Rodríguez has served as CEO of Sercotel since June 2020. His close relationship with the company spans the past 15 years, during which he has also been a member of its Board of Directors. He has more than 28 years of professional experience at Grupo Corporativo Landon, a family office where he has held board positions at Landon Investments SCR and several SICAV investment companies. Throughout his career, he has served on the boards of companies across a wide range of sectors, including food, industry, services and renewable energy. These include Bellsolà—now part of Monbake and specialising in frozen dough products—Sanyres–Landon (care homes for older people), INFINIA (film and television production), FSL Solar and Vela Energy (renewable energy), and SEDAL (tap and shower components), among others. In 2023, he received the Business Economist of the Year Award from the Col·legi d’Economistes de Catalunya in recognition of his outstanding professional career. He holds a degree in Economics, specialising in Business Administration, from the University of Barcelona, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Financial Management from Pompeu Fabra University.
