Carmela Martí is Project Director at Carmela Decoración, a Resuinsa Group company specialising in textile interior design for the hospitality sector. She represents the fourth generation of a family devoted to textiles and grew up surrounded by looms, where she learned that fabrics not only dress a space, but also shape how people experience and remember it.

She holds a degree in Architecture from CEU Cardenal Herrera University, a Master’s in Architecture, Design and Innovation (MArch), and the Executive Development Programme (PDD) from IESE Business School. Her background allows her to combine a creative vision with a strategic approach to business. Before joining the family company, she worked at renowned firms such as Fran Silvestre Arquitectos and FLOS.

At Carmela Decoración, she collaborates with architects, interior designers and hotel groups worldwide to integrate textiles from the earliest stages of each project, helping to create spaces that combine identity, functionality, sustainability and well-being. Her goal is to demonstrate that textiles are not merely the finishing touch in a hotel, but a powerful design tool capable of transforming the guest experience and adding value to every project.
