She's been fascinated by the world of design since she was a child. When she was around eight, their parents bought a villa that was yet to be built, and her father designed everything, right down to the façade. Every morning before school she'd go with him to visit the site, and over the course of two years she watched the house rise from its foundations. That experience left a deep mark on her, and she knew her path lay there: being more creative than numerical, she chose interior design. In 2012 she completed her degree in Interior Design in Vitoria. She worked alongside various professionals, learning from each of them and from both my own mistakes and others', until she opened my own studio to put her own methodology into practice. Discovering Marie Kondo changed the way she sees the home: she came to understand that order isn't only physical, but also visual and emotional. Since then she's trained in Montessori, lighting and colour. Neuroarchitecture and sensory, emotional interior design are now her passion and the way she understand space.
Amai Studio was founded in 2019. What began as a solo venture is today a team of seven people who share the same way of understanding interior design: as a discipline capable of transforming the lives of those who inhabit a space. They specialise in emotional interior design, a methodology that combines design, neuroscience and aesthetic sensibility to create homes that reflect each client's identity. They work with light, colour, proportion and emotion to foster calm, balance and the wellbeing of those who live there. Through the Amai Method, they accompany every project from the initial idea to the very last detail, combining technical rigour, creativity and careful, artisanal execution. They're not the fastest, and that's intentional: every finish deserves its time. They believe every home has a unique energy, and our mission is to give it shape so that it tells your story, your essence and your way of living.
