Pablo Figuera (Madrid, 1988) has a degree in Design from Elisava, a B.A. from the University of Southampton and a postgraduate degree in Design Management from the UPC. In 2012 he founded, together with Álvaro Goula the studio Goula Figuera, where they develop product design for companies such as Vibia, Puig, Collection Particulière, Estiluz, Faro or Habitat; in addition to limited editions and creative consultancy. In 2018, they co-founded the publisher GOFI, whose catalog is distributed in prestigious stores such as Le Bon Marché, Domesticoshop, Minim, Casamitjana or Punto Luz. In 2020, they won the Delta de Oro with the Fa Mini luminaire. Parallel to his work as a designer, he teaches at the university. His work has appeared in international publications and has been exhibited in cities such as Stockholm, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan. He has received, among others, the Design Plus, Premio Injuve, Premio de la Crítica Red-AEDE and the Lexus Design Award.
GOFI produces lighting and furniture with a contemporary, honest and timeless design; not only because of the quality of the materials, but also because of its form: simple, useful, unconcerned with trends, but with an important aesthetic statement. The company offers a careful selection of lamps and auxiliary furniture, including the Fa collection, designed by Goula Figuera and winner of the Delta de Oro, Spain's highest award for product design. GOFI manufactures in Spain in small series and in a semi handmade way. This proximity to suppliers allows us to control quality and adapt or customize most of the products to the needs of architecture and interior design professionals. Important contract projects have GOFI products, both in offices (Amazon, Bacardi, CBRE), and in hospitality (Starbucks, Mercure, Berkeley) or retail (Nike Box).
