Architect and landscape architect by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB). He has worked for more than a decade as head of urban projects in different public administrations. In 2005 he founded with Sergi Carulla the scob studio, a team that develops architecture and landscape projects in a transversal way, where the two disciplines merge into one, creating new links with nature, the city and the places where we live. Writer, author of the literary project “A tree in the house”. An anthology of short stories that speaks of the magic of landscape: how our way of living is inscribed in our environment and how the landscapes we frequent shape our lives.

Scob is a multidisciplinary studio founded in 2005 by architects and landscape architects Sergi Carulla and Óscar Blasco, both trained in Barcelona. Both have worked on urban projects for public administrations and teach at the UPC. The studio is distinguished by its empathetic approach to users, the environment and culture, integrating architecture and landscape in an innovative way. Their projects have been internationally recognized, such as the Architizer Awards 2023 for the rehabilitation of Casa Pich i Pon and the LILA Award for Terra Dominicata Hotel & Winery. In addition to his architectural works, scob researches and disseminates through short films and documentaries, highlighting “Landskating” and “Picapedrers”, selected in film and architecture festivals in Europe and Latin America.
