BURR is an architectural studio formed by Elena Fuertes, Ramón Martínez, Álvaro Molins and Jorge Sobejano. Their practice is semantically based on the English term that gives them their name, BURR, which defines the imperfections and remains that appear in a process of material modification. Their interest is focused on situations that in many cases are considered surplus or out of an aesthetic or practical canon. His production has an experimental ambition, trying to open the spectrum of the spaces we inhabit, the techniques we employ, the materials we use or the models we put into practice.
