Helena is the President of the Association of Women in Hospitality. Previously, she was Managing Director and co-head of Transaction Real Estate at EY, and led the hotel departments at JLL and Knight Frank, where she was also Director of Valuations. In her various roles throughout her career, she has led a large number of hotel transactions, strategic analysis and feasibility studies. She is used to team leadership, decision making and execution of business plans. She is a lecturer at the renowned IE Business School and IE School of Architecture and Design, and is often called upon as a moderator and panelist at conferences and other events.

The mission of Women in Hospitality is to be a professional network made up of female executives with consolidated and successful careers in the hotel and tourism industry, which aims to be a benchmark and actively contribute to the evolution of the sector as well as to serve as inspiration and support for its members together with other women and men in the field of tourism. Based on closeness, friendship and trust, Women in Hospitality aims to promote the visibility of women managers in the hotel sector, gain relevance and prominence and inspire current and future leaders in the sector with interest and ambition in this field.
