Elena is an Interior Architect by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, with more than 15 years of experience in Hospitality projects. She also has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Currently at Furtivo as Design Director, leading the development of hotel interior design projects within the luxury/upper upscale segment, with a particular focus on the more conceptual phases of the project. Prior to Furtivo, Elena was Senior Interior Designer at Proyecto Singular for 8 years, being responsible for collective catering projects, commercial design, public catering, housing and hotel sector.
Furtivo is a boutique consultancy specialized in Hospitality Projects offering Interior Design, Procurement and Project Management services for hotel owners. It was founded in July 2020 by Javier Muñoz, architect, MBA and entrepreneur with more than 12 years of experience, with the support of a multidisciplinary team of 32 people with extensive experience in international projects, close to the client, with a pioneering vision and a firm commitment to young talent. Furtivo's goal is that when an owner or hotel chain is looking to reposition their hotel, they think of Furtivo as their partner, an extension of them. Furtivo's experience as both owner and operator gives it a differential value. With only 4 years of life, Furtivo has managed more than 100 hotel projects nationally and internationally. Furtivo's main clients are the major hotel brands and the main hotel owners in Spain.
