Dimitris Karampatakis began his career while completing his studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture. These early works brought him back to Athens, and in the following years, in partnership with his brother Konstantinos, the studio took shape and began to build a reputation for its entirely context-driven approach: "We take the time to consider the whole story of each project. Regardless of scale, location or use, a successful design works in harmony with its context and responds appropriately and energetically to the brief." K-Studio is now an award-winning practice with projects around the world, an international team of architects, designers and administrators, and a network of collaborators and consultants. As a Creative Director, Dimitris believes that growth, especially in today's European climate, depends on flexibility, open-mindedness and, above all, team spirit.

K Studio consists of 80 architects and interior designers. Their contextual approach creates unique experiences through Architecture, Landscape Design and Interior Design, applying holistic and detailed design. Located in Greece, they take advantage of natural beauty and local resources for unique architectural experiences, informed by tradition and enriched by materiality. They dislike waste and prefer to work with the elements to create naturally luxurious comfort. Specializing in leisure projects, such as vacation homes, restaurants, bars, hotels and resorts, with user satisfaction as a priority, they have recently completed a major project on the Turkish coast and the renovation of Mykonos Airport. They collaborate with experienced teams and work with leading companies and international clients, including projects in Israel, Qatar, Panama and Kuala Lumpur. Their goal is to build architectural identities that balance local context with contemporary aspirations.
