Belén Moneo (Madrid, 1965) is an architect and co-founder of Moneo Brock Studio. She studied at Harvard University and earned a Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University, New York. In 1993, she founded Moneo Brock with Jeff Brock, establishing the main office in Madrid in 2002. Since then, they have developed projects in Spain, the United States, Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Among their most notable works are the Kimpton Las Mercedes Boutique Hotel in Santo Domingo and the renovation of the Hotel Trafalgar in Madrid. She has also worked on the Termas de Tiberio in Panticosa and the Laboratories of the Universidad del Rosario in Bogota. In addition to her professional work, Belén Moneo has been a professor at various institutions, and currently teaches Architectural Analysis at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Madrid.
