María Villalón (Santander, 1990), designer and founder of Villalón Studio (2017), creates human, respectful and transcendent spaces, with special attention to quality and details. Her vocation for interior design led her to train at the ESNE School in Madrid, although her passion for art and architecture comes from her father. Villalón directs the strategic design of her studio, ensuring coherence and focus in each project. His spaces seek a positive impact, sensitive to individual and planetary needs. His team works collaboratively, exploring ideas together. His projects encompass residential design, restoration and ephemeral architecture, with the participation of professionals from various disciplines. He began his career in Madrid with restaurants such as Chow Chow, Pointer and Roostiq. Recently, he has designed a space in chef Eneko Atxa's three Michelin and one green star restaurant Azurmendi.

Villalón Studio is based on collectivity and constant experimentation. The team, led by María Villalón, explores and questions every process in its search for more effective solutions, with an absolute commitment to wellbeing through design. Everyone in the studio aspires to grow and be an active part of creating a balance between the need to design and the impact it generates. They work in collaboration with professionals through dialogue and co-responsible practices. From the studio, they create spaces that prioritize human and environmental needs, balancing beauty, functionality, durability and impact. Villalón Studio is responsible for promoting a more human design as part of its continuous growth in community.
