Enrique Villanueva holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad de las Américas (1997), a Master’s in Urban Development with honors from Universidad Iberoamericana (2005), and a Ph.D. in Development from Universidad Anáhuac (2015). With 25 years of experience in real estate development, he has successfully combined theory and practice, also serving as a professor and speaker at various universities and international conferences. He is a board member of the German School in Mexico. He began his career at ICA, leading the landmark urban project Punta Pacífica in Panama. He later became Business Manager at GICSA, where he developed high-end residential projects in key Mexican destinations. He has also consulted for firms such as Grupo LAR, Questro, and Natesa. For 14 years, he served as Chief Development Officer at Pulso Inmobiliario. Currently, he leads Hotel Development at Grupo MRP, heading a new division focused on luxury hotels and residences in Mexico’s top tourist destinations. He is also an avid marathon runner.
