Niessen is one of ABB’s flagship brands in Spain and a national leader in the design and manufacture of innovative, high-quality electrical interior design solutions for over 110 years. They ensure functional and beautiful product design, focused on making people's lives easier and protecting the environment. This philosophy drives them to create respectful, safe, and comfortable spaces, which led to them becoming the first brand in the sector to receive the European Eco-Design Management Standard ISO 14006-Aenor in 2008. This certification guarantees minimal environmental impact throughout the product's entire life cycle—from creation to recycling. Niessen has also earned prestigious design awards, such as Gold at the iF DESIGN AWARDS and the “Best of the Best” at the Red Dot Awards in 2024. Niessen is part of ABB’s Mission to Zero initiative, aiming to achieve factory carbon neutrality by 2025.
