The jury made up of Mrs Sandra Guiu, representing the College of Interior Designers and Decorators of Cataluña (CODIC); Mr Oriol Guimerà, representing the European Institute of Design (IED); Mr Ricard Guasch, representing ELISAVA School of Design; Mr Jordi Ginabreda, representing the Professional Designers Association (ADP) and Joaquim Solana, director and technical secretary of CENFIM, has decided that the winner of the competition’s fourth edition are co-authors María Torres, marketing manager, and Patricia Araco, both of Dröm Living, the interior design studio based in Barcelona.

The competition provides a monetary prize of 1000 euros and, in addition, the winners will participate in a discussion panel along with influencers and representatives from the hospitality profession, which will take place during the event this week at the International Conference Centre in Barcelona (CCIB) from the 24th to the 26th of October. The prize will be awarded on Wednesday 24th at 18:30 at InteriHotel’s Knowledge Area.

About the authors:

María Torres, Marketing Director of Dröm Living since 2015, has led digital marketing strategies for international brands and start-ups from different sectors. After finishing her studies in advertising and public relations at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and later specialising in content marketing, she started her career in the world of communication and marketing working for various communication and public relations agencies, working in marketing departments across Spain, Ireland and Berlin. In 2017 she founded her own NGO, Endavant Haiti!, fulfilling a personal dream, and she continues to head the communication strategy of the social project.

Patricia Aroca currently works in the marketing team at Dröm Living. She has worked for various start-ups and creative companies as head of communication, content and design. She previously worked as a communications consultant in several agencies in Barcelona where she carried out strategic and creative projects for companies in the fashion, culture and mass market sectors. Furthermore, she is the authoer of several publications on art trends and culture as a source of inspiration for companies.
