InteriHOTEL is strongly committed to increasing the quantity and quality of the exhibitors in its sixth edition. Based on data regarding the firm reservations made so far, we are on course to achieve our goal far sooner than expected, as a significant number of companies have confirmed their participation and chosen their space. The satisfaction data for the 2015 edition, the attendees’ confirmation of the marketplace as a leading event in hotel interior design in Spain and the results of the recent pop-up in Mallorca have all triggered great interest from the exhibitors. On this occasion, there will be three sizes of stands in the exhibition area: 16m², 24m² and 32m², with the largest of these being reserved for companies that offer comprehensive hotel equipment services.

New areas at InteriHOTEL 2016

In addition, the showroom itself contains five separate spaces that add value for attendees (hotel professionals, architects and interior designers specializing in the contract sector): the popular Knowledge Areas and the new Materials & Technologies, Design y Experience Areas. As in previous years, the Lounge Area will be overseen by RED-Aede (Association of Spanish Design Companies) who will create a space for taking a break, as well as conducting networking activities and working groups with international opinion leaders. Moreover, the Knowledge Area, a section that will also boast a significant design component and which will be decorated with products from exhibiting companies, principally furniture and lighting, will also provide the venue for the specialist presentations and sessions, as well as some of the networking activities.

With respect to the new spaces presented at InteriHOTEL 2016, firstly, there is the Materials & Technologies Area, a section designed for manufacturers and distributors of contract materials and technology to present the features of their products and services to architects and interior designers, with stands of 2m², with the aim of giving them the information required for them to use or recommend them in their projects. Meanwhile, the Design Area is a central section that has been reserved for a renowned interior designer to define and execute a comprehensive hotel project with its different areas, using specialist brands. Last but not least, the Experience Area focuses on interior design from the perspective of the experience of users with disabilities and enables all visitors to participate and interact with the space which, having been commissioned by Red Estable (the Spanish Accessible Tourism Network), will be designed with the requirement of undiscernible accessibility. As such, companies that work with this type of projects will participate.

Another of InteriHOTEL’s key strengths are the activities organized in parallel, such as the conferences, the innovation awards, the internationalization programmes that attract visitors from other countries and the networking opportunities in sessions including Tapas&Contract, Cocktail-networking and Coffee-networking. Likewise, the international publicity is being enhanced and, as a result, we expect a considerable increase in the number of attendees.

Upholding the principles that have made InteriHOTEL a highly professional and unique event with high added value (it should be noted that at the 2015 edition of InteriHOTEL, more than 1,000 professional attendees registered who had projects to get under way in the short and medium term), the requirements for participating at InteriHOTEL 2016, both as a visitor and as an exhibitor, will be the same as in previous editions: a professional profile clearly specialized in the hotel contract sector.
