Light is a key tool for building narrative, because it influences what we feel—not just what we see. In interior design, this means creating an experience that aligns with the identity of the space, the brand, or the end user. This workshop is designed for interior designers who want to deepen their understanding of light as a creative and expressive tool within interior design. Through a participatory, hands-on experience, we will explore how light not only illuminates but also tells stories, evokes emotion, and expresses the identity of a space or brand. You’ll see how different lighting setups affect perception, character, and the intention of an environment—and how to apply that knowledge in your own projects. You’ll learn to use light as a narrative material, connect lighting with brand identity, build atmospheres through temperature, direction, shadow, and contrast, and apply practical tools to bring these ideas into real-world design.
