Manuel Jimenez, CEO and co-founder of Nagami, a pioneering studio in large-scale robotic design and manufacturing based in Ávila. He is also the co-founder of madMdesign in London and Automated Architecture Ltd (AuAr) in the United Kingdom. His work has been exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Centre Pompidou (Paris), the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Royal Academy of Arts (London), consolidating his impact on the international stage. In the past, he developed an extensive academic career as Associate Professor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where he directed the Master’s program in Architectural Computation, coordinated Research Cluster 4, and co-founded the Design Computation Lab. He also taught at the Architectural Association (AADRL), the Universidad Europea de Madrid, ETSAM, and L’École Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris. Currently, his work integrates computational design, robotic manufacturing, and the use of recycled materials, placing sustainability as a central axis of his projects.
