Eloi Roure is passionate about craftsmanship and design. He is the second generation of owners of the family firm Crearte. Trained in various technical areas and coming from the world of engineering, he joined the company in 2008. He developed the entire internal organization of the company and currently serves as the CEO of the brand.

Girona had never been a land of furniture manufacturing but rather of tanneries and leather, with Banyoles becoming a reference in this field. In the early 1970s, one of the city's most important tanneries conceived a very ambitious project: to manufacture upholstered furniture using their leather products. After an exhaustive search, they managed to assemble a group of artisans from the country and took them to England to learn the craft's secrets. Crearte, founded over forty years ago by the master upholsterers who emerged from that first group, is the inheritor of this initiative. They specialize in English leather-upholstered furniture, evolving over the years while maintaining design and quality as the hallmark of all their creations.
