Ignasi Llauradó graduated in Industrial Design from Elisava School in Barcelona and co-founded deardesign studio in 2005. Alongside a multidisciplinary team of architects and designers, the studio specializes in retail design and collaborates with various national and international brands. Later, they developed interior design concepts for work and educational spaces, including the development of technological educational tools for children. Ignasi is a member of the professional faculty at BCD (Barcelona Center of Design) and has taught classes at IED Barcelona (European Institute of Design), Elisava School of Design, and given lectures at design conferences. He has represented Barcelona and Spain's design in Beijing, Tokyo, and Istanbul.
deardesign studio was born in Barcelona in 2005 with the aim of creating objects and spaces with a soul for brands. Thanks to its multidisciplinary team and a belief that design is fundamental to driving change, in 2017, the studio shifted its working methodology to focus on developing environmentally friendly design solutions based on the principles of the circular economy. They integrate eco-design and consider the life cycle of a project during the creation and manufacturing of their products or interior design projects. To reduce their impact, they generate their interior design and furniture projects as a bank of eco-responsible materials, the result of their research and development process in collaboration with a network of partners committed to sustainability. In 2021, the studio received the Talent Award from the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce for their new Ecodesign approach.
