Architect with extensive experience and an outstanding track record in the field of architecture and project management. He currently holds the position of Managing Director at Picharchitects, where he is also partner of the Mexico office and international manager. His focus on sustainable building has led him to participate in congresses and activities related to the subject, as well as collaborating with Mexican institutions as a guest lecturer and professor. He has been responsible for significant projects, such as the recently inaugurated OUM Wellness building in Monterrey, which has won awards for excellence in design and execution. His role in housing and facilities development in Mexico has developed his ability to coordinate projects and manage the execution of major public and private works. He specialises in team leadership and has a strong background in architecture and sustainable construction.
The studio was founded in 1986 by Felipe Pich-Aguilera Baurier and Teresa Batlle Pagés and focuses mainly on sustainable architecture projects. This has led the firm to develop planning, promote innovation, research and development projects, and to delve into aspects linked to the sustainability of buildings, basing its work on the principles of the circular economy and the reduction of consumption throughout the building's life cycle. The studio has cross-cutting areas that focus on quality, innovation and sustainability.
