Unnoticed Accessibility: The Experience Area

23 November, 15:00h

The Universal Design, the  Design for all the People, the good DESIGN, has to be thouhgt for all persons, regardless of their physical, intellectual or sensorial conditions.

In this session, Fernando Garc√≠a Ochoa will explain the ¬†Experience Area project‚ÄĒone of the innovations of this¬†¬†InteriHOTEL edition‚ÄĒ a space designed under ‚Äúunnoticed accessibility‚ÄĚ criteria. In this space the visitors have the chance of putting themselves in the place of a guest with physical limitations and feel which aspects and details of the equipment and interior design can be decisive in their experience and therefore in their final satisfaction.

Also, Beatriz Rubio from ILUNION Hotels ‚ÄĒ first hotel chain certified with universal accessibility (UNE 170001)‚ÄĒ will talk about the importance of the environments, goods and ¬†processes in her hotels, understood from the point of view of universal design and the unnoticed accessibility and will make a short tour throught the different areas, showing pictures of them.¬†
